Traffic

A recent audit shows that reducing traffic congestion is not even on the list of the Department of Transportation’s priorities. Studies show that traffic congestion can be reduced significantly, without raising taxes, simply by re-prioritizing our transportation efforts.

Education

We spend over a quarter of a million dollars per classroom per year. We need to make it a priority to find out where that money is being spent and use more of it to attract, motivate, and reward teachers who achieve results.

Taxes and Spending

The legislature has turned the largest reserve in history into what is projected to be a $2.4 billion deficit next session. Limiting property taxes and out of control spending has to be our priority.

Property Rights

No other rights are safe when property is not safe. - Daniel Webster. We need to return to property owners’ rights having priority over the government’s rights.

Scope of Government

1600 bills were introduced in the latest legislative session, and yet the big problems are still here. The government needs to focus on our priorities.
